Q1) Introduce yourself and tell about your art medium?
Ans 1) Hello, I am Madie I am a self-taught artist who draws during her free time. A few things to know about me is that I love dogs, coffee, and doing workouts in a gym.
My art medium is a digital art medium.
Q2) Tell me something about you and how you entered this art field and started with art?
Ans 2) I started getting my interest in art when I was very young.
I remember in first grade that my teachers are telling me that I have great potential in art.
During my younger years, most of my subjects are cartoon characters from shows such as the Powerpuff girls, pucca, and Winx club just to name some.
Every time I was bored in class I kept on drawing behind my notebooks that my teachers usually scold me for doing so because it is very unorganized. Starting that day I bring B5 sketchbooks inside my bag and draw every day.
At the time when I noticed that my art style wasn’t that great, I decided to take it seriously. I was in 3rd-year high-school at the time. I learned to sketch, then inking, then coloring, until I use my recent medium “digital art.”
Q3) Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years?
Ans 3) Currently I am a college student. I’d admit that my course is a very difficult program, so it is very hard to balance my art journey and my career path.
In my art journey, I planned only to make myself a part-time artist, but I vision myself years from now is that I will be making either a webcomic or an art book. It has always been a dream to make either of those into reality. I’ve made a script of the plot when I was 17 years old and if I have time, I’d start drafting it.
Q4) what keeps you going all through these years, what’s your inspiration or motivation to keep going?
Ans 4) They say that if you want to have a good mark in your life is to either plant a tree or write a book.
As I mentioned earlier is that I dreamt of making a comic book or an art book which would be my legacy and how I will be remembered as.
What inspires me is that I have a lot of big dreams to fulfill as an artist. I would also like to inspire potential young artists who wanted to do the same as well.
Being consistent is the key to achieve your goals, so with that, I put it on my slate.
Q5) How you feel about the collaboration with me, in future, you want more collabs on what you think about it, and how you feel about this interview since this is my first time interviewing someone?
Ans 5) Of course I am honored to be a guest here in this interview so Thank you for inviting me. doing a collaboration with you is fun, it is very interesting to transition traditional art-style into digital media, with that I would be honored to do another collaboration with you in the near future :)
